Watch: The Death of Pop - "Circles"
London quartet The Death Of Pop release the video for their new track, “Circles”. Taken from their forthcoming EP, due out in July via Art Is Hard Records, it’ll leave you almost as dizzy and groggy as the track itself.
As the camera circles around and looks upwards to the band members, it’s hard to think of the video for the new track from The Death of Pop as anything other than apt. The song features wonky synths and woozy vocals - a groggy sound only punctuated by dry, precise beats. As the track gently unravels all of its psych tendencies, there’s layers of vocals and harmonies all wrapped-up in a little gem of a melody.
It’s a skip to the left(field) from the band’s earlier material - a sign that they’re finding their creative feet - and it’s the first sight of what will become of their new EP, due for release in the summer.
