The Blaze's "Heaven" is a thing of euphoric beauty

Having first made an impression back in 2016, The Blaze have quickly gone on to win numerous accolades for their startlingly stunning visuals, and their new single "Heaven" is another demonstration of their boundless ability to make carefully crafted and beautiful work.

The French duo, consisting of cousins Guillaume and Jonathan Alric, are both producers and film directors and have a unique way of working whereupon they actually produce the song and the visuals at the same time. This style of production culminates in an exciting strangeness to their work, and means that there is a kind a thrilling unpredictability about what they will present you with next.

The visuals for "Heaven" feel free from any creative boundaries as they follow a community of people in an abandoned field during a hot summer. At the centre of it all, however, is the tenderness and innocence of a newborn child and a new family growing together that perfectly counterparts the gentle beats and soaring, bending vocals.

The video is the last piece of a trio of visuals that follows previous singles "Virile" and "Territory" that first brought the duo to international attention, and there is little doubt that "Heaven" will garner just as much praise.

The duo will be playing a string of festival dates later this year, see the full list of dates here.
