Leeds-based sextet Team Picture continue to build on their eclectic, ambient alt rock with “Clone You”.
Penned during the band’s infancy, “Clone You” comes with a sense of pure discovery and stepping into the unknown. With it, Team Picture have managed to find a space between minimalist and maximalist musical space where guitars serve as brush strokes on a canvas of whirring synthesizers and post punk percussion.
Utilising both female and male vocals in the verses, the track delves into a lonely psyche, pushing towards a huge climactic whirr of wriggling synth that soars into the ether.
“Clone You” is out now and available as a limited edition cassette pre-order. Find Team Picture on Facebook.
