Talos dives deep into dreamy electronica on his latest track “Reborn”
Talos (aka Eoin French) showcases an ethereal, almost supernatural, sound on his latest track “Reborn”.
The second cut taken from his EP 'O Sanctum (out now via Feel Good Lost), the slow burning track features French’s delicate vocals shining against a twinkling soundscape.
With the lyrics “on a wave washed away/all that water washed away” repeated throughout, at times "Reborn" feels like a Buddhist mantra, a sacred utterance, which exaggerates the otherworldly atmosphere present in its musicianship.
He explains: "'Reborn' embodies the feeling of a release. I think there are times when you have to allow yourself space from looking inward and instead expose something more instinctual, more impulsive. This is about a desire to get 'lost' in a way, and to let any attachments fall away in that escape."
