Brighton’s finest ruminate on the change from analogue terrestrial television to its polished digital descendent in this exciting new offering.
Following the release of their debut EP LINO back in 2017, Brighton’s beloved Squid took some time to figure out how far they were willing to push their sound. “Terrestrial Changeover Blues” is a continuation of that thought process; a rich blend of psychedelia, Europop and punk noise.
“Terrestrial Changeover Blues” heralds a new direction for the band, one filled with tighter rhythmic arrangements, hushed vocals and existential musings. Catch the band at Great Escape Festival on 18 May.
“Terrestrial Changeover Blues (2007-2012)” is out now.
