SOTD #65 // 1,2,3: 'Confetti'

1,2,3 are a fledgling duo from Pittsburgh, Penyslvania who, despite a short time together, have already starting making ripples in the musical pond. They recently played their first UK show at The Great Escape festival and are set to release their single ‘Going Away Party’ as a limited 7” on May 31.

Our SOTD is an exclusive giveaway of their unreleased track ‘Confetti’. It opens with the acoustic guitar and stumbling fragile voice of Nic Snyder. But before long his partner in crime Josh Sickels arrives on drums – from here the track leaps into a vortex of falsetto vocals, fuzzbox guitar and laid back rhythms. It’s just a taster of what’s to come from this dynamic duo; prepare to be knocked out for the count.
