Because we’re always on the ball here at The Line Of Best Fit we’re excited to offer you a WHOLE FREE SONG each and every day of the latest and greatest releases. We just can’t keep these tracks to ourselves so we’re spreading the word via a free download! To start you off we have the wonderful Caribou with the new single ‘Odessa’.
If you’re familiar with Caribou’s last album Andorra, perhaps you’ll be expecting lazy guitars and hushed vocals; you’re in for shock then as they take a leaf out of Deerhoof and Grizzly Bear’s book with this great indie dance track. Bubbling with spikey funk basslines, pepperings of percussion and lead by the Erlend Øye-esque vocals, the song rolls in and out of a plastic fantastic indie dream. Dan Snaith’s new direction has made us very excited about Swim out on April 19th and this is definitely a track you’ll be rocking out to in your computer chair.
