Listen: Sivu - "Particles" [Premiere]
Cambridge-raised, London-based artist Sivu premieres his stunning new song, “Particles”, on Best Fit.
“Particles” recalls some of Sivu’s (real name James Page) early work such as “Bodies”; the track gushing quietly with unaccompanied open chord chimes and breathy intimacy. Page’s distinctive vocal bloats and deflates between clear-cut swells and muddy, underwater submersions, resulting in yet another fascinating, honest piece of writing that never tires.
It’s Sivu’s consistency that marks him out as one of the most important solo artists on the new music circuit - but we didn’t expect anything less of his new material.
New single, “Miracle (Human Error)”, is released on 28 July via Atlantic Records, a day after the slated release of his next EP of the same title (pre-order).
