Ryan Egan swans back into our lives with swaggering synth-funk jam "Easy To Lose"
NYC-based singer/producer Ryan Egan returns today with glossy cut "Easy To Lose", a hip-shaking hybrid fusing dreamy pop and kinetic indie.
"Easy To Lose" follows last year's "Finest Hour" single and 2015 EP Postures. Egan moves into the void left by Jungle in their prolonged absence - it's a slick, polished jewel with heaps of chest-clutching emotion, shadowy hamornies, and funk spasms that forces you up onto your feet.
"'Easy To Lose' is a clear reflection of the sound I've been chasing forever," Egan explains. "The song has an atmosphere of tension both lyrically and sonically. It's a melancholic dance track that aims to mirror our most human experience; the balancing act of dealing with emotional hardships while we attempt to carry on about our business."
