We’re having a bit of an Ólafur Arnalds day today. Earlier we spoke to Arnalds about his new project Kiasmos – and now we are returning to the contemporary classical work for which he is best known.
‘Everything Must Change’ is taken from Arnalds’ score for ‘Another Happy Day’, a new feature film starring That Demi Moore. Built around scratchy violins and a Moog-y bass that recalls Brandt Brauer Frick at their most frantic, ‘Everything Must Change’ is as pensive and as beautiful as we’ve come to expect from the horrifically youthful Icelandic composer.
The full score for ‘Another Happy Day’ is out now on the ever-impressive Erased Tapes. You can download ‘Everything Must Change’ below.
