NONONO, a brand new trio hailing from Stockholm arrive today with a bold and massively addictive introduction in the shape of the rousing ‘Like The Wind.
The icy cold vocals of Stina flanked by producers Astma and Rocwell (whose previous credits include Bebe Black, Benny Banks and Best Fit favourites Icona Pop), ‘Like The Wind’ is – in every sense – a very typically Swedish sounding song. The loose rhythms and cascading guitar lines recall Gothenburg nu-balearic pioneers Studio at their finest, whilst Stina’s cooing voice recalls a more tuneful Karin Dreijer Andersson. Needless to say, it’s a thrilling debut and one that further cements Stockholm as one of the most exciting musical cities in Europe (and beyond).
