Night Games reveal brooding new single “Signals”
Artist names don’t always tell the story of the music. Night Games certainly does.
The rising electronic duo impressed with their debut effort “Nine Days” earlier this year. And now the band have unveiled their second slice of brilliant, downbeat pop, effortlessly keeping hold of our attention.
Creating an ethereal atmosphere thanks to swathes of synth work and gentle clicking percussion, the relatively unknown but increasingly exciting pair explore the feelings of mixed signals in love. On top of the intelligent production, it is an amazingly velvety, deep vocal that helps create such an interesting and brooding work.
Streaming below as our Song Of The Day, get to know Night Games a little better with “Signals”; it’s a track ready for a quiet but intriguingly wonderful night in.
Night Games play The Old Blue Last in London tonight (Monday 30 November) to celebrate the release of "Signals".
