Nick Hakim announces his debut EP with the release of “Cold”, yet another cut of gorgeous and unhurried modern soul.
The Washington DC born, Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist has the power to stop you in your tracks with his timeless vocals and soul music which, quite frankly, lurches from those inner, intangible depths. Comprised of lilting guitars and a sleepy piano, “Cold” is soon fleshed-out by glorious harmonies and cascading multi-layers - absolutely mesmerising and intoxicating.
Hakim’s debut EP, Where Will We Go Pt 1, is released on 14 July via his own Earseed Records.
