Swedish sensation Molly Hammar collaborates with Big Narstie on the carefree “No Place Like Me”
Joining forces with British rapper Big Narstie, Molly Hammar's brand new track “No Place Like Me” is a declaration of freedom and independence, marking her return following last year’s sultry and sensual Sex EP.
That's not to say that Hammar has been AWOL however: since the release of Sex, the interim has seen the songwriter flitting between London, LA and her native Stockholm penning material both for herself and others including Dutch duo Sick Individuals and dance outfit Sondr. Now throwing herself back into the mix with her latest slick anthem, the single features a guest appearance by Brit rapper Big Narstie.
Channelling echoes of fellow R&B contemporaries Mabel, Tayá and Saya, “No Place Like Me” is an early summer jam packed with bassy, hip-swinging beats and lush, exotic synths that gazes wistfully in anticipation of warmer climes. Bold and confident, Molly’s new music announces her independence, self-discovery and spirit of adventure.
“’No Place Like Me’ marks the place I'm at in my life right now, being able to truly be free and focus on what makes me feel good,” shares Hammar on her latest outing. “I’m 23, single and loving life. Having Big Narstie join me on this single is a dream come true, I was so happy when he agreed to guest, it couldn’t be a better fit.”
