Peruvian instrumental Cumbia & ‘60s garage rock go head to head on Los Bitchos’ “Trippin Party”
The exciting London-based trio are creating a Latin American dance-oriented sound indebted to summertime frolics and excessive tequila consumption.
Debut single “Trippin Party” and equally engaging B-side “FFF” introduces newly formed group Los Bitchos as a collective of barmy women making genius jams that would sit comfortably on both a The Spotnicks and Los Destellos record.

Commenting on the importance of Cumbia, the widespread and unifying genre from Latin America, guitarist Carolina said “"Cumbia was a huge genre in South America, almost as important as Britpop was in the UK, we grew up with it, so it's easy for us to write the rhythm & beats while Serra focuses on the killer loopy riffs. Our sound can maybe be described as The Shadows on a Tequila-fuelled field trip to South America.” That is certainly a comparison we can all agree on.
