British-Cambodian singer Liza Owen is electrifying on lust-fuelled new track "Polite"
The rising soul-pop powerhouse has already worked with the likes of Bipolar Sunshine, Cedric Gervais and even toured with Jonas Blue, and on her latest offering she makes her lofty ambitions apparent.
On "Polite", Liza Owen lays her cards on the table and makes it very clear that she isn't here to play around. Her velvety vocals are speckled with lust and romantic intention whilst she acrobats along a constant stream of bouncy, addictive hooks that will no doubt work their way into your subconscious.
It's a feel-good track made for soundtracking new love or late summer antics. It displays a woman who is fully in control, both of her art and her relationships, where she lets all her thoughts and emotions run through her words whilst a pounding dancefloor beat wraps itself around her.
Explaining how the track was first written, Owen says "Well I hadn’t seen my boyfriend for a few weeks and when I finally saw him I woke up the next morning and wrote 'Polite'. I really wanted to capture those feelings of crazy lust. There’s something so powerful and sexy about a female not being afraid to tell you exactly what they want, when they want it."
