Listen: Young & Sick – “Glass”
Singer-songwriter and producer Young & Sick announces his signing to Capitol Records imprint, Harvest, and shares “Glass”, the lead single off his debut album.
When Best Fit was first introduced to Young & Sick back in 2012, he was the anonymous vocalist featured on Dublin producer MMOTHS’ track, “For Her”. The following year the illusive artist used the internet’s dark underweb to reveal his soulful, harmony-driven track “Continuum”. Now, in 2014 it seems Young & Sick’s mysterious veil has been lifted as this Dutch-born, London via LA via NY-based illustrator/musician announces his signing to the newly re-launched Harvest Records (Kate Bush, Pink Floyd, Electric Light Orchestra).
The news of Young & Sick’s self-titled album (set for release on 8 April – pre-order here) comes complete with a debut single “Glass”. The track relies on a UK funky bass line, the singer’s signature harmonies, and a nostalgic feel that channels late 70′s Bee Gees - hair and all. April can’t come soon enough.Track Listing:
