Listen: Shout Out Louds – Walking In Your Footsteps (Lissvik Remix)
Adding an undeniable bounce to the already buoyant sounds of the latest Shout Out Louds single, Gothenburg producer de jour Dan Lissvik strikes gold yet again with this fantastic re-work.
The third time Lissvik has worked with a Shout Out Louds song (‘Impossible’ in 2007 and in 2011 with SOL side-project Serenades’ ‘Birds’), the remix sticks carefully to the original’s structure – taking an ‘if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it’ approach – Lissvik instead adds shine and sparkle to an already irresistible offering of indie pop.
Shout Out Louds will play a sold out Best Fit presents show at The Lexington, London on Tuesday 2 April and will return for a second London date at XOYO on Friday 13 June – tickets available here.
