Listen: Seams – Rilo

It feels like we’ve been waiting a while for this upcoming Seams LP, but consider the Berlin-based UK-born producer’s penchant for effective slow-builds and we should rest assured that it’ll duly deliver.

This new track, ‘Rilo’, is the first lifted from Seams’ (real name: Jami Welch) debut full-length, Quarters. Following on from last year’s Sleeper and Tourist double EP release, the cut sees Welch honing in his skills and refining his sound palette. The spiralling arpeggios and gentle glitches remain, with the track sitting somewhere in between the more ambient Tourist and beat-driven Sleeper - with the feeling of Welch finally capitalising on his long-realised potential and stumbling upon his own unique style in the process.
