Ethereal, stunningly beautiful, and boasting a startlingly haunting voice, London-based artist FKA Twigs made 2013 her breakthrough year and revelled in critical acclaim for her EP2.
Lead track “Water Me” has been remixed by DJ DJ Booth and the result is a pacier affair, with end-of-the-night club vibes and a warmer overall sound. The dark, intriguing mood of the original track shines through however and its success lies in Booth’s reluctance to alter too much: respecting the power of Twig’s original work.
Breathy, but with a deep, electronic sound, check out DJ DJ Booth’s remix of “Water Me” below.
