Close your eyes and you hear a wee bit of a younger version of Prince, I dare say. But no, it’s none other than Swedish soul-pop sensation Erik Hassle with his new single, “Pathetic”.
Hassle is no stranger to the music scene, making his debut back in 2009 with his self-titled album and topping the Swedish albums chart at the number two.
He returns this year with an arguably improved, more well-groomed sound. “Pathetic”, a track that gives off a smooth soul/RnB vibe, aided no less than by producers SOHN and Nick Ruth, may just prove to be a winner.
“Pathetic” features on Hassle’s Somebody’s Party EP, to be released on 4 March via Record Company TEN/RCA Records.
