Listen: Conquering Animal Sound – Ultimate Heat Death Of The Universe

After releasing their enticing and hugely rewarding debut album Kammerspiel back in 2011, electronic duo Conquering Animal Sound return with the first fruits from their follow-up record On Floating Bodies, which is due to drop via Chemikal Underground on 18 March.

‘Ultimate Heat Death Of The Universe’ continues Animal Sound’s foray into deeply involving electronica beautifully. A loving blend of analogue and digital elements combine to give the track its beating heart whilst Anneke Kampman’s vocal spits Björk-like over a creeping, almost sinister backbone of elasticated loops.

Conquering Animal Sound will open for BBC Sound Of 2013 contenders CHVRCHES at London’s ICA on 27 February.
