Listen: Boat Club – Nowhere [Premiere]
We’ll refrain from gushing too much over this, for the sole purpose of a full evaluation and analysis as to why Boat Club’s 2007 debut album is so incredibly important is due to hit these very pages on Friday, when we crown the re-issue of Caught The Breeze our Album Of The Week.
Amongst the six remastered songs that make up the release is ‘Nowhere’ which for some unintelligible reason is oft left forgotten in favour of “the hits” ‘Warmer Climes’, ‘Memories’ and ‘All The Time’.
With this in mind, today we bring you a refreshed and reinvigorated version of ‘Nowhere’ in all its cascading chord glory. Nearly five minutes of Balearic perfection that acts as the unintentional centrepiece on one of the most criminally overlooked records of the past decade.
A repackaged and remastered vinyl edition of Caught The Breeze hits the streets on July 22 through Cascine. Pre-order here.
