Blossom have dropped their enormous debut track, "Regeneration". Details about the band are super-scant, and basically all we know is that they're British, male-fronted, and the track was mixed by Rory Atwell.
The track's a paean to youth, the wonders of carelessness and the glories of being blind dumb.
"I don't wanna break you down/I just wanna fuck around..." the scratchy yowler hollers, through a deluge of axes fuzzier than a buzzcut. There's nods to sonic forebears like the Pixies - the screams, the gyrating guitars, the sheer abrasion - but glimpses of the likes of The Who can be gleaned, in obvious ways, from the tone and theme.
Watch the found-footage clip á la Lana Del Rey below, as it flashes up images of casual intoxication, tongues sloppily slapping tongues and slogans like 'Goodbye Innocence', 'How To Survive The Teenage Years' and 'Every Living Creature dies Alone'.
