Listen: AZ&TOR – Resend [Best Fit Exclusive]
Gooey centered house beats melt through your speakers, and just as you start to settle into the soft bask of Bristol’s emerging house sound, these energetic vocals pulse through, carrying the beat along with it.
There’s a magnetic chemistry that’s ignited when Aisha Zoe and Richard Main come together to create. Once you’ve had a listen to ‘Resend’, you’ll see what we mean. Melodic tendrils cling to a 4-4 beat that gently pulls you closer, before wrapping it’s outstretched arms around you, then gently letting you go as you spin onto the dancefloor. Think the softer side of Alunageorge meets M.I.A., with a scope of influences ranging from reggae to dubstep. AZ&TOR’s impressive ability to blend beats and vocals into one incomparable sound is really something special.
Having already been named BBC’s as ‘Ones To Watch’, and with an EP from MadTech on the way, there’s no doubt big things are in store for this duo.
