Shlohmo is one of those rare musicians that seem to happen upon perfectly apposite names. His particularly languorous electronica, while packed with interesting ideas, certainly doesn’t seem to feel the need to rush.
Here the LA producer takes on English chanteuse Lianne La Havas’ ‘Forget’, to dusky effect. Bathroom reverb vocals are offset against funereal synths, conjuring images of mournful, late-night break-ups.
‘Forget’ is out in February on Lost & Found.
