It appears that we have moved through all four seasons within the course of the last six weeks or so. Today we seem to be in the depths of autumn – and so to commiserate, here is a deeply autumnal track from South London producer Klaus.
Klaus’ forthcoming Tusk EP consists of four tracks of pensive, minimalist dubstep. There is more space here than there is noise, with fragments of vocal and splutters of percussion emerging from a thick swaddling of bass. It’s not a cheerful release, but it is very beautiful – and, somehow, rather calming.
Tusk is out on the newly reinvigorated R&S next month. In the meantime, stream standout track ‘Cypher’ below.
