Klangstof's "Amansworld" is an immersive "love song gone bad"
Norwegian artist/producer Klangstof cut his teeth playing bass with Dutch band Moss. Now he gnashes away on his own with transformative new single, "Amansworld".
Initially set on a bed of whirring synth and lethargic electronic drum beats, "Amansworld" quickly develops from its unhurried pace - replete with Thom Yorke-esque singing - to an-all out frenzy of unbridled guitar solos and thunderous drums.
"Amansworld was the song where I wanted to get out of my comfort zone, write “funny” lyrics, play a guitar solo, do some hip-hop shit, and let the drummer go crazy on the fills," Koen van de Wardt aka Klangstof says.
"I think it is pretty easy to understand what the song is all about. I would just say it is a love song gone bad."
