It feels like an eternity since we last heard anything from Danish duo Kenton Slash Demon when, in reality, it’s only been a matter of twelve months. With the phenomenal future disco bliss-out of single ‘Daemon’ (which made it into our Top Fifty Tracks of 2011), Silas Moldenhawer and Jonas Kenton created one of the most awe inspiring floor-fillers of recent memory. A year on, after the rigorous touring schedule of their ‘other’ band When Saints Go Machine, Kenton Slash Demon return with ‘ORE’. Slower in pace than previous material, the instrumental track bounces against a throbbing synth backdrop that builds organically throughout. Less club banger, more night-bus home territory – it’s by no means any the less thrilling as a result. Stream and/or download below.
