Disco-funk trio JUCE revealed another infectious cut this week in “(H)ours”, and it’s four minutes of pure, unadulterated fun.
Sounding not too dissimilar to their fantastically fresh debut, “Call You Out”, new song “(H)ours” hears singer Chalin’s rubbery vocal slink around funk riffs, hand claps and groomed harmonies. JUCE make consistent and polished pop whilst wearing their girl band revivalist attitude on their sleeve. Refreshingly direct.
Catch JUCE at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Glasgow this weekend.
