Take a dreamy dip into JIL’s magical R&B sound with “All Your Words”
JIL are the latest trio to merge high-class production with romantic R&B and have it turn out elegant.
The two producers and vocalist use sparkling synths and electronic sounds with heavenly harmonies to create a whirlwind of electrifying sounds.
On the New Rok-based trio's new track, "All our Words", the intricacy of the synths is somewhat unusual. Rather than overshadowing the track they add a delicacy to the harsh beat that undoubtedly hosts the track’s bop-worthiness.
Dipping in and out of darker corners, the trio manage to emphasise lighter tones in the synths that beautifully collide with the track's more sinister beat. Vocals not unlike Sampha's glide throughout in a song that indulges in harmony-heavy whimsy.
JIL are really starting to infiltrate the energetic electronica scene, with originality to boot. "All Your Words" has got us very excited indeed.
JIL, who have played with the likes of Dev Hynes and Rat King, release their debut album in September.
