JaJa Kisses reveals tender track “Silver Knickers”, paired with glittery, glitchy visuals
JaJa Kisses is the latest female artist to incorporate complex, trap influenced beats with shimmering, angelic vocals in a city built from concrete.
The hazy warps of the beat subtly ignite JaJa’s teasing tranquility projected through her angelic vocals. The harsh slaps of the hi-hats send the heart racing, romanticising the warm colours in the video as well as JaJa’s soothing voice.
Whilst the video glitches between quick transitions and zooms to emphasise a pulsating movement, “Silver Knickers” continues to mesmerise and hypnotise, with seemingly effortless harmonising.
The femininity of JaJa’s voice and the shimmering pinks, purples and silvers portrayed throughout the visuals to “Silver Knickers” add a sentimental contrast, showing the harsh reality of London’s concrete jungle compared to the pure, angelic voice of JaJa Kisses.
