Hawaii's Ash gets soulful and sultry on funky R&B groove "Naked"
Canada via Hawaii's Ash provides a wholesome and uplifting snapshot of her soulful R&B in the alluring new track "Naked".
22-year-old Ashley Lilinoe is providing full-bodied, rich sounds that exert a nutritive force that'll have you flying away to paradise.
Ash's new track is infused with soft jazz, submerged under the crystal blue water that comes to mind in the picturesque vision.
The new offering is breathtaking, like a golden hour beach party with the palm trees swaying softly in the wind and the waves rolling delicately across the soft sand.
"Naked" embodies the organic way of life Ash follows. Currently residing on a farm in Canada's British Columbia, Ash is pursuing sustainability, "Our buying and trashing mindset has encouraged polluted water sources and growing lands," Ash explains, "and millions of post-consumer landfill sites that ooze the toxicity of a greedy and scarce culture. I played a part in this until I woke up."
The new track features the crisp production of Grammy-nominated producer starRo, and emphasises the rawness of her vocal ability, which is both robust and seductive, enough to project a powerful message with an engrossing tone.
