Haux merges tender folk emotion with sumptuous R&B brilliance on new gem "Touch"
Haux, aka Berkshires-raised multi-instrumentalist Woodson Black, unveils his airy folk-R&B opus "Touch".
The track is a blurry, slow-motion trip through heartache with production that manages to be satin smooth and dangerously exposed simultaneously. It's a stark gem from Black's Haux guise that tugs on the pit of your stomach - it feels like a moment of comfort in the eye of an icy hurricane.
"I’ve always been drawn to the past," Black explains. "There’s something about it that’s both set in stone yet still awake. Touch brings the past into the present. It’s binds the details of someone you seldom remember with the nights that you always forget."
Black will bring his music to Europe next month, with three UK shows queued up - including one at London's The Lexington. Find out full tour dates and ticket information.
