Grace Lightman shares a hypnotic and unflinching sad song "Fangs"
Former The Hypnotic Eye frontwoman Grace Lightman has gone rogue, adopting an otherworldly alter ego - the Silver Eater - for new single "Fangs".
Grace Lightman is a woman with an almost ethereal quality about her. She is the product of 60’s sci fi, left field sitcoms and abjectly depressive odes to lost lovers. Taking inspiration from the likes of Nico and Jane Birkin, Lightman has crafted the sensual and sparing “Fangs”, tackling the essence of what it means to be in an adult relationship.
Lightman questions the very idea of human identity through her alter ego, the Silver Eater. This bittersweet narrative reveals a poignant level of honesty towards artisty, a quality that you would be hard pressed to find in this day and age.
