Grace Lightman returns with the bittersweet and beautifully sparse “Halloween Is Over”
The former Hypnotic Eye frontwoman and new addition to Handsome Dad Records is a bewitching individual with a vampiric alter ego.
“Halloween Is Over” is written from the perspective of Grace Lightman’s alter ego, the Silver Eater, who is quite a comical and vulnerable individual. Beneath the ruminations of a blood sucking creature of the night lies a spelling binding instrumental which combines twinkling pianos with twilight synthesis.

Grace Lightman inhabits a world where the very fabric of human nature is questioned and interactions between mortals are laid bare. She is an anthropoid fairy and with that territory comes some seriously otherworldly artistic output.
