Gorgeous Bully, the guy still making West Coast garage in Northern England
Hailing from Manchester, Gorgeous Bully is continuing to craft fuzzed up anthems in the style of Mississippi icon’s The Cavaliers and Bass Drum of Death whilst adding his own pinch of lo-fi melancholia as demonstrated on new bit “Happening”.
Following a rapturous cover of “I Know What You”, an EP released in cigarette style packaging and a full length through Edils Recordings, Manchester's Gorgeous Bully returns with a gnarly slice of garage-rock on “Happening”. Fans of Charlie Moon and Ty Segall please take note.

Rare indeed is it to find an artist who manages to balance simplistic, overdriven guitar with haunting telephonic vocal and make the sound their own. by building on rock and roll fundamentals in his latest and arguably greatest offering, Gorgeous Bully is doing just that but without trepidation or fear, rather, a blind sense of ingenuity and gall that more artists need to embrace.
