FOXTROTT unveils new offering "Deliver" and encourages us all to take our time
"Deliver" comes as the lead single to the final instalment in FOXTROTT's Meditations trilogy, laden with soft beats and intricate melodies that seek to soothe and support.
The new song comes alongside the announcement of FOXTROTT's new album Meditations I-II-III and sees the artist offer up a message of patience and acceptance of another person. Through her words, she offers a hand of support in a time of distress as she delicately sings "It's not my place to change you" and simply states that she's happy to wait for that person to come back whenever they are ready.
In a world that often demands so much from us, it is touching reminder that not everything has to be rushed and sometimes all you need is to give someone their space. The interweaving beats and layers of luscious harmonies only enhance the supportive nature of the track, acting as a huge encapsulating hug that completely absorbs you with its warmth.
The musician and producer, who is also known as MH Delorme, explains this message in further detail, saying “I found it interesting to write a warm and accepting song about a painful subject. Sometimes, one just needs to be told: 'no stress, take the time figure yourself out, I’m not going anywhere.' This act of choosing love and presence in the midst of uncertainty, is often all that is needed.”"
