EKKAH reveal another brilliantly disco-fuelled new single in “Can’t Give It Up”
Ever since they emerged with the instantly infectious “7am” in the middle of 2014, EKKAH have been winning us over with their smile-inducing, disco-fuelled brand of pop.
The London-based duo - Rebecca Wilson and Rebekah Pennington - pull inspiration from heroes such as Nile Rodgers, creating their sparklingly unique, wholly funky sound that sets them apart from their peers.
Twitching guitars join clapping percussion, bouncing bass and electrifying synth stabs in their most assured and seductive cut to date. “R-E-A-L L-O-V-E” Wilson coos in her honied yet impassioned tone; it’s dance move-ready.
With their RCA-released debut full-length billed for early next year and a run of live dates across the UK in November, EKKAH are set to win over the masses as we move to 2017.
