Glasgow's Edwin Organ reveals squirmy odd-pop track "Serenade" and its gummy worm-filled video
Glasgow's Edwin Organ shares his beautifully bizarre new single "Serenade" and its equally oddball visuals.
The track is a rickety construction with caffeine-jitter beats and slippery bass spasms - there's a dash of tUnE-yArDs in the bewitching mixture, but Organ's carving a niche all for himself.
"There have been many great losses in my life, the majority of them plant based, primarily due to my neglect," says Organ of the song and video. "I used to have a balcony where they'd sit and they would sort themselves out - plants are great like that. This serenade goes out to my rosemary bush, her name was Rose, but to friends she was Mary. I wrote this from her perspective, yearning for the love I never gave her. RIP Mary, I'm sorry I never treated you better."
