Avant-garde popsmith Apollo is unveiling "Oceans II", his first original track in far too long, on Best Fit.
Led by synthy organs and rolling drums, "Oceans II" is beckoned into life by spirited clarion-pop that twists and turns around a central throbby bass. Grand flourishes of percussion and rolling harmonies melt into a heady brew as the track unfolds, ramping up to a truly epic climax - it's bold, it's big, and it's beautiful.
Back in May Apollo revealed his My Mixtape Brings All The Boys To The Yard "jukebox", featuring re-imaginings of tracks by Lykke Li, Robyn, Kate Bush, and Goldfrapp.
The Atlantis, Ascending EP is due out in the near future. It's the follow up to The Atlantis Experiment EP.
