Dan Caplen debuts “Flat Champagne” featuring RAY BLK
Brixton-based singer Dan Caplen is joined by RAY BLK on smooth R&B number “Flat Champagne".
London based and classically trained, Caplen perfected his craft in Portland, Oregon but remains firmly indebted to his Caribbean roots. On “Flat Champagne” Caplen combines funk-fuelled groove with Meteronomy-esque beats whilst the guest feature from this week’s hottest new talent RAY BLK adds a layer of Erykah Badu style flow.

The track is focused on the experiences of a younger generation drawn to the allure of fame and fortune. “You move to the big city thinking that things are going to happen instantly, but it rarely turns out like that he explains. “You’ve got to keep plugging away until someone listens”.
