Los Angeles duo courtship. reveal "Sail Away", their most introspective moment yet
Los Angeles based duo courtship., Eli Hirsch and Micah Gordon, share their third single "Sail Away", an introspective fizzing pop jam.
Following last year's "Love For Everyone" and debut single "Stop For Nothing", the pair are back with their first release of the new year. The magic all happens in Gordon's ocean-side bedroom in Los Angeles, adding a sun-bleached filter to proceedings.
The duo explain, "It's a song about that kind of beautiful/devastating moment in life when something feels so unreal, and you realize, like everything, it will pass." So, in a way, "Sail Away" is about escaping from something you believe to be bigger than yourself, but more often than not - whether it be joyous or heartbreaking - that moment is only fleeting.
