New Chess Club signings BLOXX introduce themselves with grungy pop cut "You"
Uxbridge four-piece BLOXX might be your favourite new band after you hear their second single "You".
Following their knockout debut "Your Boyfriend", BLOXX continue as they mean to go on with dazzling new cut "You" - the pair will be released as a AA-side. This exciting band continue to grow exponentially - it's not been long since their Bandcamp demos were making waves and they were crowdfunding to cover the recording costs for their debut EP, but now their grungy indie-pop sound is tight, sitting in the midpoint between ragged around the edges and perfectly polished.
"'You' is a song we wrote in my front room just a few days after writing 'Your Boyfriend'," frontwoman Fee Booth explains. "It's got a lot to do with reminiscing on a past relationship, and taking yourself back to that time to think about what could have been done/said differently."
Booth met bandmate Paul Rau while working in Wetherspoons and Taz Sidhu and Moz Noronha at college, and now together as BLOXX they boast label support from the home of MØ... the only way is up.
