Ben Khan's brand new track "Blade (Tidal Wave Of Love)" is a spectacular nugget of electro-R&B
22-year-old producer Ben Khan has shared a new track/demo called "Blade (Tidal Wave Of Love)", and it's our Song Of The Day.
It's Khan's first release since he dropped the 1000 EP, and he only finished it earlier today (4 August).
Khan meshes hissing hi-hats, squelchy bass, and off-rhythm accents - it's classic Khan production, recalling the slick, forward-thinking R&B of Jai Paul while offering a new twist. It's a subtly epic offering from Khan, ever-so-slightly building up to a euphoric climax without ever really changing all that much - Khan's a master producer, and his talent is clearly felt on "Blade (Tidal Wave Of Love)".
The 1000 EP is out now on his own label Blessed Vice.
