Afie Jurvanen, the award-nominated Canadian musician better known as Bahamas, announces his new album with the wonderful, “All The Time”. We’re delighted to have the UK premiere.
“All The Time” is centred on a sluggish groove, lugged as it is with bad-ass bass fuzz and dangling guitars. A chamber chorus sweetens the deal with billowing coos and clever echoes, soon finding itself bedded into your head. Lilting and fun, we could have “All The Time” on, well, all of the time.
New album Bahamas Is Afie is released via Brushfire Records/Island Records on 18 August. Tour dates are to be announced soon.
