Australian duo Audego share transcendent R&B song “I Don’t Need You”
Audego put their experimental electronica on full display with new single “I Don’t Need You.”
Written and produced by the band and mastered by Andrei Eremin, the track is the perfect product of the Australian duo's intriguing and sultry style.
“I Don’t Need You” is Audego's first new single since releasing their third LP, Glaciers. Audego deliver a tune of pure escapism on the song, which sits somewhere between AlunaGeorge and Cosmo’s Midnight.
Slow tempo music is tricky. It can either be just a filler in the mix or it can capture a mood in a beautiful way. But “I Don’t Need You” doesn’t miss the mark, mixing feathery vocals with an ethereal beat and distorted percussions to create a slow and subtly gorgeous sound.
The track shows the band’s fierce dynamic with Aroly Tariq’s mesmerising vocals and Pasobionic’s eerie beats and ominous synths. The traditional harmonies tie it all together to produce a track that is simultaneously relaxing and transcendent.
If you appreciate future R&B or are looking for a chill escape, then turn this on, kick back, and enjoy.
