Acid Glasses is a really quite strange new project from Memphis resident Nick Burk. You think Memphis, you think Stax, Al Green, Otis Redding, yes? Well, you’d be a little wide of the mark. I can only begin to imagine what Acid Glasses’ Memphis is like. If ‘My Pale Garden’ is an accurate indication, then today the city is underwater, entirely fluorescent, populated by rejected Disney characters, and gradually being swallowed by looming dementia.
