Download: Oh! Canada 19: A Halifax Pop Explosion Special
As you should know by now, TLOBF and Oh! Canada have returned to the East Coast of Canada for the Annual Halifax Pop Explosion. And, as seems to happen every time we have a Canadian showcase – we have a number in Common – this time Oh! Canada’s 19th Edition is a celebration of 19 Years of the Pop Explosion.
It only seems fitting, then, that we should put together a compilation of 19 (see what we did there) tracks from bands playing the Pop Explosion this year, so those folks not at the event can get a taste of what they are missing, and those who are can perhaps find something new to go and see.
As ever our thanks go out to the good folk who have made this edition possible. Please support the artists and click through to find out more about them.
If you are at Halifax Pop Explosion be sure to come and say hello at our showcase at The Bus Stop Theatre on Friday 21st with Snailhouse, The Provincial Archive, Giant Hand and Paper beat Scissors, and to pick up one of our Screenprints as part of the Poster Fair. You’ll also be able to keep up with us at the festival on twitter at @ohcanada_uk
