This mixtape is a journey through the rhythm of the records which inspire my songs and videos. They are for me, the NYC Magic.
I wrote "NYC Time" while walking down the streets of New York. I remember the feeling of jazzy rhythms and positivity jumping from every corner you'd turn. I hummed to myself ‘there’s things in life you can't control’, which are stronger then you. I didn't know I was about to begin this voyage. The records of my childhood were carrying me on their shoulders, back to where it all began, New York.
Petite Meller's new single, "Baby Love", is out now. Watch the video here.
